In my defence, yes I am lazy but my air-conditioner is 3 metres off the floor on the wall above my kitchen sink. To turn it on I need to lug a ladder in from the back room, climb up it and turn some antiquated knobs.
Then I either have to lug the ladder back into the back room and then back AGAIN to turn off the air-conditioner later when it is no longer required and then back into the back room again OR leave the ladder there and risk walking into it during the night on my way to the bathroom.
And those are 'it's way too hot at midnight' lines in the second panel, NOT stink lines!
