Riots Not Diets


The way some of my co-workers talk about food is enough to drive me to actual physical violence.
Here's the secret to eating for a healthy life: when you treat yourself make it good quality and just enjoy it on every single f@#king level when you're eating it.
Then the indulgence will a) satisfy you and b) feel worthwhile.
Then you can go back to eating fresh fruit and veg and regular serves of meat and dairy and grain-based foods and enjoy those too.
Jesus.

The title 'riots not diets' came from the reaction of my comrade in arms at work who also had to rein in the rage at this conversation.
